Even though photography is my job i still feel that its important to sometimes do sessions just for yourself. Just because you want to. Just because you found a really cool prop that you want to use. Just because its fun!
It helps you to continue to grow as an artist and set new challenges for yourself.
One of my biggest challenges is shooting indoors. I just don't like it. But i felt that this outfit and mask called for a little bit of mystery. Which meant shooting in a creepy abandoned house. :) But! I was so glad i took up this challenge. There is nothing like seeing every detail of your session come together better then you ever imagined, and this was one of those times for me. The lighting was perfect and so was the setting for what i had in mind. I also had a great model who portrayed exactly the expressions i was looking for.
